1. ungkapan untuk menyatakan kemampuan (ability) dan ketidakmampuan (inability) menggunakan can/can't, could/couldn't, able.

expressing ability:

• i can speak english
• she could swim when she was five
• he will be able to win the competition

expressing inability:

• i cannot speak english
• she couldn't swim when she was five
• he won't be able to win the competition
